WildLights 2016 Welcomes the Holiday Season

WildLights 2016

One of the most enjoyable events of the entire holiday season is WildLights at the Living Desert Zoo and Botanical Gardens in South Palm Desert. An aesthetically beautiful area of the Coachella Valley, South Palm Desert, located adjacent to La Quinta, is peaceful and serene and at its most perfect on winter nights. This year’s event will begin November 23, the day before Thanksgiving so that everyone can add it to their holiday agenda. With close to 1 million twinkling lights, blazing bonfires and live cowboy guitars it is little wonder that this is considered a signature event year after year.

Sipping a glass of your favorite wine, enjoying a cup of hot chocolate, apple cider or a delicious hot coffee or cocktail, this festive environment on a cold winter’s night is the perfect spot to enjoy friends and family and look forward to the joyful days ahead. December is filled with parties and special events that bring families together and remind us how fortunate we all are to call the Coachella Valley home. Sitting around the campfire at WildLights, the familiar smells of popcorn and cinnamon bring back memories of holidays past and the thrill of anticipating holidays of the future.

There is always plenty to do thanks to the Holiday Express Train, old-fashioned carousel, rides on a live camel, and the breathtaking Tunnel of Lights. Absolutely everything is covered with tiny lights in brilliant colors from the majestic palm trees to the varieties of local cactus, to every ride and attraction. It all makes for a simply stunning sight that is sure to thrill young and old alike.

It is easy to understand why so many families choose this valley as their permanent family home. It is a great place to offer children the memories and experiences that are such a part of growing up in America. Our great schools and safe streets make this area one of the most desirable places to call home in Southern California. This is also one of our busiest times of the year in real estate as the snowbirds flock to the temperate climate and clean air of the Coachella Valley. Go out and make it a great week and we look forward to seeing you at WildLights!
