The 11th Annual Indian Wells Arts Festival Enchants the Valley

Indian Wells Art Festival

The BNP Paribas Open Tournament has finally left the Valley and let us catch our breath for a moment but what a fabulous ride it was! The great thing about this amazing place we call home is that there is never a dull moment and there are always more exciting events right around the corner. April is no different as we gear up for the 11th Annual Indian Wells Arts Festival which will once again be held at the magnificently appointed Indian Wells Tennis Gardens venue.

The state-of-the-art, $75 million dollar spectacular will once again be the perfect backdrop for this truly epic arts festival. This year mother and son artists Linda Lee Kinman and Dusty Kinman of Kinman studios in Dexter, Oregon have set the bar with their exquisite oil on linen canvas, Trail to the Pyramids painting depicting the Southwest deserts in the springtime. The viewer is able to walk along an imaginary pathway leading toward the Pyramids with blooming cacti, graceful palms and exotic smoke trees providing inspirational beauty that is incomparable.

This is the image that was created exclusively for this year’s arts Festival. More than 200 world-class craftspeople and artists will grace the three day event this year. The Indian Wells Arts Festival always attracts a following of thousands that includes serious art collectors, casual fans and a majority who are searching for that special piece of inspirational art to add to their collection. Artworks that capture feelings, colors, landscapes, the heritage of the mysterious Southwest, special lifestyles, pottery, sculpture, glasswork and photography are just a portion of the excitement surrounding this gala event.

I am never surprised that a large percentage of my home buying clients are from the world of artistic endeavors. If ever there was a place created for the artist’s hand it would have to be this exquisitely beautiful desert that we call home. I am also happy to report that home prices have never been so low nor our inventory so filled with luxury residences as they are today. This is the time to pick up the home of your dreams if you have not already done so. My clients are thrilled to discover they can afford much more luxury than they dreamed thanks to the lowest interest rates in years.

Don’t miss a chance to enjoy three days of breathtaking art from April 5 – 7 and perhaps find a one-of-a-kind edition to your own collection. Hope to see you there!
