It is always officially fall when our much loved Palm Springs Village Fest announces new hours for the season! You probably know that this Thursday night weekly event is so much more than just a simple Farmers Market. It is a community gathering of friends and neighbors for live entertainment, epic food sampling, and plenty of fun. With more than 180 vendors coming from all around Southern California, there is always plenty of diversity and innovative new products to choose from. You can even register to vote and plan a vacation at Village Fest.
Angel Breads is on hand to make sure you have the best in low sugar and gluten-free breads and bakery products. Aspen Mills Bakery from right here in Palm Springs offers their delicious specialty breads, muffins and other baked products. Baba Foods provides hummus, pita chips, and other Mediterranean delectables. Bean Boys with their 83 varieties of gourmet coffees make sure you will have plenty of choices to go with all those delicious baked goods.
A wide variety of fresh and locally grown produce includes buying ripened tomatoes, juicy strawberries, pungent citrus, and the freshest of leafy green vegetables. Dates-R-Us provides our signature Coachella Valley dates along with nuts and fruits, perfect for stocking up for the holidays. For something a bit more exotic stop by Daniel’s Creperie for exquisite French crepes, both sweet and savory.
Beautiful handcrafted jewelry, original and one-of-a-kind baby clothes, anything and everything for your favorite pet and original artwork are just a few of the booths you will find every week at Village Fest. Live music from our favorite local musicians and vocalists add to the gaiety and of course there are plenty of delicious hot and cold food options if you just want to sit down and have a bite to eat.
Kosher products, handmade soaps and lotions, heavenly fragrances, scented candles, beef jerky, local raw honey in multiple flavors, fresh flowers, corn on the cob, bird houses and outdoor feeders, and almost anything else you might think of are all yours at Palm Springs Village Fest. There are plenty of great restaurants surrounding the downtown area as well, so if you are in the mood for a cocktail or glass of wine and just mingling with the locals, this is the place to do it. Go out and make it a great week and I hope to see you at Village Fest one of these beautiful autumn Thursday nights.
